Dr. Aggelos Alexi graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete in 2016 (2010-2016), with a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation for all 6 years.

He completed a 2 year residency in Pathology followed by a specialization in Cardiology at the Nicosia General Hospital. During his residency, he was trained in Clinical Cardiology, in the Department of Cardiology, in the Hemodynamic Laboratory and in the management of cardiac emergencies. He showed particular interest in cardiovascular imaging and case management in the Cardiology Care Unit (CCU). He was also active in the Cardiac Surgery Clinic of Nicosia General Hospital with active participation in intraoperative transoesophageal echocardiograms and postoperative patient monitoring.

He was trained in Athens, at the echocardiology laboratory of the hospital Korgialeion Benakio-Red Cross, in the newest echocardiographic techniques of cardiovascular imaging, under the chairman of the echocardiography working group of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, Dr. Papadopoulos X. Konstantinos.
